A Letter from the 2011-2012 Officer Team:

As officers of the Society of Indian Americans at Virginia Tech, we would all like to welcome you to a new year of fun and MASTI with your fellow Indians. To the freshman we welcome you to a new experience and to all those returning we hope that are ready for an exciting year.

SIA is a cultural organization that enables students to develop friendships and bonds through various cultural events and fundraisers throughout the year. Starting with the ICEBREAKER in which the members will be able to meet the new officers to the crazy parties that are held and ending with the Annual SIA Cultural Show, students will be able to stay culturally involved as well as balancing college life. Along with these big events the SIA organization allows students to be involved in extracurricular activities and also community service.

Throughout the year the members will gather for meetings and discussions on how to make their college life better. This organization was made for the students at Virginia Tech and we hope that they enjoy every minute of being a part of the SIA family.

Since an organization is only as strong as the members it has, we hope that you will choose to be a part of the SIA family and continue a tradition that has enriched the college experience of so many. Please take a look at the site and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity

Sincerely,
The 2011-2012 Officer Team
